Hang the curtains wide and hang the curtains high! This makes your windows in the room look bigger and more spacious.

The curtain rail should be longer than the width of the window. Then you can place the curtains on the side of the window and thus maximize the light.

If you do not want to run a curtain rail from wall to wall and only have curtains above the window, we recommend that the curtain rail protrudes at least 50 cm on each side of the window.

Example: If you have a window that is 100cm, you need a curtain rail that is 200cm.

Single width is a good width of curtains when there is only a narrow part of the wall you want to cover, for example if it is a small room or an asymmetrical window that is close to the wall on one side.

Double witdh is a good width for curtains when you want to cover a lot of surface, for example if you want to cover an entire wall up to where the window begins. Then you may need several curtains of double width that you hang next to each other.
